More Chyrp Goodness
I decided to add the other modules/feathers today and as I suspected there were issues. When I did, I was met with a bunch of PHP errors and guess what the issue was?
I was still running PHP4 on the subdomain. Silly me, I didn’t check this and I assumed that it would have inherited the same setting. BUT …
To Media Temple’s credit, one can have different versions of PHP running on each domain including subdomains.
However before I figured this out, I exported the posts, etc from the previous version and decided to re-upload the latest version and then import. Success there however comments and tags are gone. Oh well. I still have the old DB so I /could/ go into that and grab things but that probably won’t happen. This is all stemming from the thought that I *was thinking* that I would give up on chyrp and go back to WordPress.
Nay, I’ll stick this out. Now that I have all the modules and feathers that I need the only thing I would like is for more themes. I could spend a day tweaking the CSS but I’ve given that up.
