My Bloody Valentine
Rounding out the year of shoegazing I saw MBV last night at Roseland. I think the last time I was there was to see Foo Fighters sometme back in the 90’s and I remember just hanging by the bar drinking heavily.
This time around we got some drinks (Bud, 2 of them) and waited for the band to start. We had it on good authority that 9:30 was the starting time however that time came and went and I think most of the crowd was getting annoyed at the fact that they weren’t going on.
Finally they did and the first thing I thought was that I could not hear any vocals. I was happy to be there however things sounded … muddled … at best.
We stayed for an hour and left.
Load and muddled. That pretty much sums up the show.
